About the Organisation
4 Q&AALIVE-Nigeria is an independent NGO (non-profit organisation) registered in Nigeria. It stands for "Africans Living In View of Eternity" and exists to challenge and equip individuals for personal missionary work across Nigeria and beyond.
On 20th March 2011, five members of A.L.E.R.T (A Life-giving Eternal Resource for Truth) worked together with other young people in Nigeria and the erstwhile ALIVE-Ghana president to establish ALIVE-Nigeria, with a passion to bring the Gospel to every corner of the nation.
All ALIVE-Nigeria services are 100% free of charge. As a non-profit organisation, we believe every community deserves to hear the Gospel without financial barrier. Our work is funded entirely through the sacrificial giving of our members and mission-minded supporters.
No. ALIVE-Nigeria is a fully independent NGO that operates on its own. We do not require a host. However, we sometimes partner with other individuals or organisations at the request of donors or communities we serve.
Joining & Membership
4 Q&AALIVE-Nigeria welcomes men, women, graduates, working professionals, and student volunteers whose hearts are burdened for spreading God's Word. We also establish services at the request of individuals or churches, and can identify areas of need independently.
Yes, ALIVE-Nigeria is available to all humanitarian organisations — national or international. We welcome NGOs to join and offer special services such as tailored training programmes specifically dedicated to your organisation's needs and context.
ALIVE-Nigeria currently has more than 100 organisational members, with hundreds of trained volunteers who have passed through our programmes since 2011. Our community continues to grow as more hearts are stirred for the Great Commission.
Yes. Physical health is an important part of missionary service. A missionary should be fit physically, mentally, and in every other way to meet the sometimes demanding tasks and challenges the mission field presents. We provide pre-mission training to help you prepare fully.
Our Mission Work
2 Q&AALIVE-Nigeria establishes service at the invitation of individuals or churches across Nigeria. We also proactively identify areas of greatest need — remote communities, underserved populations, and campuses — where the Gospel and compassionate care are most urgently needed.
To request an ALIVE-Nigeria mission in your community or campus, simply send us a written letter of invitation by email to alivenigeria2011@gmail.com. Our team will review the request and reach out to discuss the best way we can serve your community.
Giving & Funding
1 Q&AALIVE-Nigeria is funded predominantly from the sacrificial giving of our members. We also gratefully receive support from mission-minded individuals and organisations who share our vision to reach every soul with the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every gift, large or small, makes an eternal difference.
